The Legal Documents Filed in the Lawsuit
The Amended Complaint
filed on June 1, 2011 following an exchange of letters between the attorneys after the filing of the original complaint at the end of March, 2011. The letter written to Monsanto's attorneys said the lawsuit could go away if they would provide a binding covenant to replace the undefined and unenforceable promise Monsanto made not to sue over “trace,” “inadvertent” contamination.
